Bu yıl 66’ıncısı düzenlenecek olan 2014 Emmy Ödülleri için adaylar açıklandı. Adaylar arasında drama dalında beş kategoride de adaylığı bulunan Downton Abbey, Breaking Bad ve True Detective dikkat çekerken, komedi dalında Modern Family ve Orange is The New Black, mini dizilerde AHS: Coven ve tv filminde ise The Normal Heart öne çıkıyor.
Televizyon dünyasının Oscarları olarak kabul edilen Emmy Ödülleri 25 Ağustos gecesi yapılacak törende sahiplerine verilecek. Geçtiğimiz yıllarda Neil Patrick Harris, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Jane Lynch gibi isimlere sundurulan Emmy Ödül Töreni’ni; bu sene ise Seth Meyers sunacak.
